What is The Reading Hour?
The Reading Hour will be officially held on Saturday 25th August 2012 from 6pm-7pm, time in your city.

What does The Reading Hour aim to achieve?
The Reading Hour aims to get you to read more frequently. As a parent, you can read with your children during the reading hour, and at least 10 minutes a day, every day, to improve literacy skills and nurture a love of reading. That equates to just over an hour each week.
The Reading Hour also wants you to read a book during your break, and meet up with friends to read and discuss your favourite books.
