What does The Reading Hour aim to achieve?

The Reading Hour aims to get you to read more frequently.  As a parent, you can read with your children during the reading hour, and at least 10 minutes a day, every day, to improve literacy skills and nurture a love of reading.  That equates to just over an hour each week.

The Reading Hour also wants you to read a book during your break, and meet up with friends to read and discuss your favourite books.

Disney Junior is one of the supporters, and you can watch their advert on it at the love2read site: www.love2read.org.au
