Cry…NYR Theme for November

The National Year of Reading 2012 theme is Cry.

I know what you’re feeling right now.  You’re feeling sad just because of this month’s theme.  Time to change the stigma!

This month, you don’t have to be sad or miserable if you don’t want to.  You might cry out of laughter, or have tears of enjoyment drop onto your cheeks when you finish a good book.  Remember, the best books are the ones which make you feel different after you finish.

Some people also cry when they achieve a goal. Think about olympic champions and race finalists.  What reading goals will you set this month to make you cry?

Read on and also download the NYR12 Theme: Cry Poster.

Romance novels are also particularly good in this area.  Whether there are sad or happy endings, books can make us cry.

Do you have a goal to reach? Perhaps you are doing the goodreads Reading Challenge?  Some people cry out of sheer joy when they reach their goals.
